I really wanted to like this movie because I loved the first one. However, this movie was a little too cliche for me (professional athlete becomes famous, rich, and looses everything because he becomes a piece). I have long been a fan of sports movies, however over the past few years all of this genre of film has become all the same. Goal is no different, except it is with a less televised sport in America (soccer).
If you are into this type of film you could enjoy it. However, if you are looking for a different take on a genre that has been the same for a while, this film will disappoint. Goal 2, in my opinion, fails to deliver anything worth watching. Unless you are a fan of David Beckham w/out a shirt on (which is the case after after every game).
