Changeling, directed by Clint Eastwood, is based on a true story. Changeling is rated R, its content is found here. This film stars Angelina Jolie as a single mother who's son was abducted. Jolie gets the police involved to help her find her son. However, the police department (and other government services) are corrupt and bring her a different boy and try to convince her this boy is her son.
The corruption of the government poses the question if much has really changed since the 1920's. The mother's love, dedication, and trials commands emotions in its viewers. Overall, Changeling is arguably one of the best movies of 2008.
