If you are a fan of Philip Seymour Hoffman, as I am, you will see this film. After all of the Oscar hype I thought "yeah that could be interesting". Doubt is thought provoking and smart. This movie is rated PG-13, the actual content of the movie can be found here.
Doubt follows the accusations made against a catholic priest becoming intimately involved with a homosexual african-american boy at a Catholic school. The subject is controversial, but no sex/nudity is shown. Philip Seymour Hoffman, Meryl Streep, and Amy Adams are amazing. Doubt makes the audience aware of the politics that are involved in religion. Overall, Doubt allows the audience to decide if they doubt the priest or the principle.
